Update Wednesday 31st March
We have now tried to contact all our patients aged 50 and above. If you have not had a vaccination and would like one, please call us.
Second vaccinations
We have started inviting patients to Measham Leisure centre for their second vaccinations.
We are only inviting patients who had their first vaccination there. If you had your first vaccination at another site please return there for your second vaccination.
The system is that each site is given exactly the number of second doses, according to their records of who had a first vaccination there. So if we were to give second vaccinations at Measham to patients who had been elsewhere for their first vaccination, we would be depriving someone who had their first vaccination at Measham of their second dose.

See our Covid Vaccinations page for more information. This page will be updated regularly.
We are returning to Essential Services only
Due to the continuing increase in Covid cases, the third national lockdown and starting to provide Covid vaccinations, we have reluctantly taken the decision to reduce our service levels.
We have done this to keep patients and staff as safe as possible and ensure that we can vaccinate as many of our patients as quickly as possible. Although vaccinations are not taking place at the practice, our staff are working at the local vaccination hub.
We are cancelling all but essential tests and reviews and will only be asking patients to come for a face to face appointment when there is no other alternative.
Our Barlestone branch will remain open for the collection of medications from the dispensary but all other services there have been suspended for the moment.
We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause but feel it is the safest course of action at present.

Welcome to Ibstock & Barlestone Surgeries
Welcome to our practice website. There's lots of useful information on this site about our practice and your health. If you're new to the area we would love to have you as one of our patients. Please see the 'New Patients' part of this site for details.
We are a training practice and so we regularly have fully qualified doctors who are now training to become GPs working with us. We also regularly participate in research studies to help improve medicine for everybody.
Patients with a special need or requirement
If you have a disability, impairment or sensory loss please let any of our clinicians or staff know. We will then arrange to communicate with you in a way that suits you best. We will also add a note to your patient record so we are aware of this for the future.
