Returning to work after shielding

Have you been shielding or self-isolating? Are you returning to work?

Please be aware that we will not be providing letters or fit notes for employers who are asking for GPs to confirm that it is safe for someone to return to work.
Employers must carry out their own risk assessments and, if needed, occupational health assessments on their employees who have been off work during the Covid-19 shielding period.
Only after these have been carried out can the employer and employee make the decision that is it safe for a return to work. This is not a GPs decision.
More information can be found here: https://www.acas.org.uk/working-safely-coronavirus/returning-to-the-workplace

Have a reason why you can't wear a facemask?

Unfortunately we're unable to provide letters as evidence that you can't wear a facemask. However if you go to the Hidden Disabilities website you can purchase a card to show that you are Face covering exempt.
